As we continue our #DUBS100 Origin Story Series, we are excited to highlight DWGA Member and long-time guest, Linda Dillon!
How were you introduced to the game of golf?
LD: My dad started having me play at Dubsdread in 1952 when I was just 4 years old. He was a mailman at the College Park Post Office and would help me play after his route.
What do you love most about the game of golf?
LD: I love meeting new people that then become long time friends. I am known as the 'Queen of Member-Guests!'
What is your favorite memory at Dubsdread?
LD: Before renovations, there was a swimming pool with Art the lifeguard, they also made delicious Sun Tea at the halfway house. In later years when I was 15, I loved playing with Louise Fike, Kay Eckford, and Becky Berkley.
