Popular since its inception in 1923, Dubsdread continues to remain a favorite among locals. The par 71 layout offers a challenge to golfers of all skill levels with its narrow fairways and heavily bunkered, "postage stamp" style greens. To this day, golfers can enjoy the same challenges experienced in the early 1940's by golfing legends Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, and Claude Harmon. Conveniently loacted just minutes from downtown Orlando, Dubsdread is the city's oldest municipal golf course. Built in 1923, this course is the annual site of the Orlando City Amateur championship. The golf course is known for its narrow fairways and demanding approach shot required to successfully carry the water protecting the fourth green.
